Zenify a bangalore based Home aggregator and rental management startup raised $1 million in its Pre-Series A funding led by High Networth Individuals (HNI), who have a minor stake in Zenify. The funds will be used to strenghten the team and to expand their services.
Zenify was founded by Sudarshan Purohit, Kailash Rath and Ankur Agarwal in 2012. It has listed 1700+ properties across Bengalore. Users are provided with a platform where tenants and owners can find and rent an apartment. It has a feature called ZRP- Zenify Rental Price, which provides fixed price for each property available for rent based on localities and demands.
Sudarshan Purohit, co-founder and CEO of Zenify said,
“Over the past few months we have been concentrating on developing new services to ease pain points of rentals in India. Today, India has an untapped market of 4.5 Bn for managed home rentals with 4 Mn unattended NRI properties. We strongly believe that the real estate industry has a lot of potential for change and growth and the impending years will bring about the required changes, the industry so greatly needs.”
He further added,
“We have already witnessed a major shift in consumer behavior. Over 90 percent of the rental property booking is being done online through Zenify. We hope to take our product to other tenants and owners across India and help solve the rental problems.”
Zenify earlier raised a funding of Rs. 4 crore led by Atul Jalan Founder and CEO of Mathan Sotfware Serviice Pvt Ltd, Srikanth from Angel funding and Bharath from K12 Techno Service Pvt Ltd.
