YepMe likely to open more offline stores

Yepme a Gurgaon based online fashion marketplace had opened its offline stores in January 2016 at DT City Centre Mall Gurgaon. Since then it had opened 3 more stores in Gurgaon.

It was founded in 2011 by Vivek Gaur, Anand Jadhav and Sandeep Sharma. It aims to to have around 400 store outlets with a presence in 550 districts in next 4-5 years. The offline store will provide the customers to feel and touch the quality of the product from accessories to clothes and they can try them also to know the fitting of the product.

YepMe will further provide franchisee to increase the number of the stores, for more details you can check the details on its franchisee opportunities.  The company is targeting accessories and inexpensive which can be contributed to higher sales in Tier 2,3 and 4 cities.

Yepme receives 70% sales from Tier 2,3 and 4 places and 30% sales from developed metro markets. It will have a network of 1k stores in the next 3-4 years.

Vivek Gaur CEO of Yepme said,

“By the end of this year (FY 2016-17), number of retail stores will be 400, which would be around 600,000 sq ft. Out of this 400 outlet, 20% will be metro and rest all in small scale town.”

Sandeep Sharma, COO of Yepme said

“70% of the shipments are made to smaller towns, while the rest are made to cities. Customers can shop in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam which has had a direct impact on customer’s lifestyle.”
