Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., doing business as Walmart, is an American multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores and grocery stores. Headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, the company was founded by Sam Walton in 1962 and incorporated on October 31, 1969.
Vijay Chander, CEO of Plumb5.com said
“We are delighted to be to be associated with Walmart India. Plumb5’s single customer view capability and lean nodal architecture will be of value to Walmart India’s needs on customer intelligence and business intelligence. We are committed towards delivering quality work and providing a single point solution for all their requests involving data and intelligence.”
Walmart’s investments outside North America have seen mixed results: its operations in the United Kingdom, South America, and China are highly successful, whereas ventures in Germany and South Korea failed. But this tie up of walmart Inida with Plumb5 is expected to customize communication with members in the most relevant and timely manner through a ‘Single Customer View’ and thus benefit both the parties.
