VISIT a Delhi based on-demand healthcare service provider has raised an undisclosed amount of seed round funding from MapMyIndia a Technology company. The funding will be used in technology development.
Vaibhav Singh Co-founder of VISIT said
“With the new funding, we plan on investing heavily in improving our technology. We are also aiming at increasing the number of doctors on the app to 500 over the next 3 months. The vision is to bring m-Health to a billion Indians over the next 5 years. No matter where you are you should have access to quality healthcare at just a tap.”
VISIT was founded in 2015 by Anurag Prasad, Chetan Anand, Vaibhav Singh & Shasvat Tripathi. The idea came when the founders were on their BITS Pilani Campus which is located in a remote area and accessing quaity healthcare was not convenient.
Their aim is to avoid problems in delivery of the healthcare todaylike in-clinic waiting, booking out an patient and not able to get any in-house doctor visits. They help the patients to connect with the practitioner anytime with the help of computer or smartphone.
The startup have a feature ‘Q’ a free text a doctor service which allows patients to interact with the doctors with a text message and ask questions related to their health. If the patient requires a treatment then ‘Q’ helps them to connect to the doctor who can provide them with lab test and prescription.
Patients can also connect to therapist over video within 30 minutes and are diagnose with smartphone or PC and expertise. Their Specialist include therapist, dermatologist, nutritionist and general physicians.
