Uber tying up with Wicked Ride a Bike Rental startup

Uber a cab aggregator has tied up with Wicked Ride a bangalore based bike rental startup. With this partnership Uber can provide any kind of bike including Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, Ducati, Royal Enfield and others in 12 location including Bangalore and Mysuru. They are operational in Jaipur and Udaipur also.

Wicked Ride was founded in 29th May 2014 by Varun Agni, Vivekananda Hallekere and Anil G. It raised a seed funding of $790k on 14th July 2015. The user book the bike through the website and after the booking is placed a Wicked Ride employee reach to the user’s doorstep to drop the bike.

Before providing the user with the bike the employee checks user’s License for Motorcycle with Gear and Pan Card, test drive is available for only 15 minutes. The user should also follow all the safety precautions mandated under the Motor Vehicle Act.

With over 1500 monthly transactions, Wicked Ride gets 3k hits on a daily basis on their website and is present in only 12 cities. Uber Wicked Ride services will be available on Ubers platform.
