“We are creating new categories rather than going after established food categories where both margins and pricing power are low. By controlling the entire food ordering experience and supply chain we have been able to differentiate ourselves and induce repeat purchases, which we believe is important for early success of any start-up.”
The startup already has 2 kitchen running in Gurgaon and it delivers around 150 orders per day. To manufacture its private label products it is in process to create back end infrastructure.
It works with a 50 member team and it claims to have customer base of 6k people. It also witnessed a healthy repeat rate with customers ordering 5 to 6 times a month. Its app is available on both Android and iOS platform.
Rohan Dayal co-founder of Twigly said,
“We’re building an iconic brand that people love associating themselves with. We’ve already gotten requests to open across India (Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad) as the word spreads, and we’re working day-and-night to grow Twigly without compromising on our core values of quality and customer-focus.”
