SheThePeople.TV raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Anand Mahindra

SheThePeople.TV a digital storytelling platform for women has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Anand Mahindra, Chairman at Mahindra Group. The funds will be utilized in its future expansion plans to launch new initiatives including events, regional language and forums.

Mahindra has also invested in the video platform in his private capacity, which has built a much needed ecosystem and digital media space for women achievers, and are dedicated to promoting and championing their success stories. It was an official partner for Start-up India, union governments prime programme for entrepreneurs. In January 2016 Stand-up India and Make In India week in February

SheThePeople.TV has till now shared around 10k stories of inspiring women, who are authors, entrepreneurs, sportswomen, corporate executives, game-changers and more. Around 100k women have been offered network opportunities via meeta, conferences and other events. The stories are provided in both Hindi and English version followed by video content.
