Salosa an on demand in-home beauty service provider was acquired by Quikr a Mumbai based Online cross category classified platform.
This strategy was part of Quikr’s plan to invest $37.5 million in its home service vertical namely ‘QuikrService’. Salosa was already a partner to QuikrService, now it will further strengthen its beauty services offerings with stylist.
Salosa was founded by Piyush Dhanuka and Anurag Nair and started operating in September 2015 by serving customers in parts of Delhi and Gurgaon. QuikrServices was launched in October 2015. In March 2016, Fixy a startup which provides an on demand maintenance services at office and home. With 250k service providers, it offers 80 types of services for consumers and it is being used by 100k customers everyday.
