Purple Style Labs raised seed funding from LetsVenture

Purple Style Labs a Mumbai based personal styling startup has raised around $448k in seed funding from LetsVenture. The round was also led by Rahul Kayan- Calcutta Angels Network and Augument Ventures.

The funds will be used to expand their team of stylists and designers and develop technology.

Other investors participated in this round include Roy Kwan- Director of Sales at Deutsche Bank- Hong Kong, Operator Ventures, Rohit Parakh- Director at Touchstone Services Pvt Ltd and Nikhil Golcha- Member at Calcutta Angels Network.

It was founded in 2015 by Abhishek Agarwal. It aims to manage the designer brands in luxury, premium and affordable segments. The users can look for both styling and designing on a single platform which provides a unique experience for them.

It has provided so far more than 30 designers and stylists across 8 cities in India and annual growth of 300% has been achieved for the designers. It provides professional support in terms of marketing, operations, strategy and technology.

“When it comes to designer apparels and accessories, purely buy now e-commerce platforms are not preferred by customers. Purple Style Labs believes that a stylist helps a customer make better choices as per her personality and preference.”
