Pune based app Prescribez own by ThingsMeet Solutions has raised $145k seed funding from Ankush Mehra an Angel Investor. It allows the users to book appointments via app. The app is yet to be launched this month.
In 2015 it was founded by Neeraj Joshi, Jayant Kaduskar, Manish Bandil and Cherag Mehta. For more than 15 years Cherag Mehta and Manish Bandil have previously worked together at Infosys Technologies. Jayant Kaduskar an IIT Bombay alumni has previously worked together at Infosys and Accenture.
Neeraj Joshi Co-founder and CEO of Prescribez said
“We are looking to aggregate labs and start doctor consultation through Prescribez itself, The funds will be used for product development and marketing. We are also planning to start operations in Mumbai in the next six months”.
Ankush Mehra, the investor said
“Technology, when combined with healthcare and education, is always a good bet, with even the government supporting it, and I am looking at more such investments in the future,”
ThingsMeet Solutions first product is Prescribez. The app helps the users and service providers like pharmacies, lab and doctor to interact on a common platform. It also helps the users to search for health services via app.
Various other healthcare startup have also raised funding including DocsApp which raised Rs 8 crore funding from Rebright Partners, Practo raised $90 million funding from China’s Tencent, LoveCycles raised $741k from Prime Venture Partner.
