Parentlane a Child development app raised an undisclosed amount of funding

Parentlane a Bengaluru based Child development app raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Capier Investment- Run by Rohit MA, co-founder of Cloudnine Hospitals.

The funds will be used for technology, content and product development of the company.

It was founded in 2015 by Neeraj Kumar Gupta and Vijay Anand. A social networking mobile app which parents with access to personalised guidance for their children from the time they are born till they attain the age of 8.

“We answer queries across 60-70 categories of child development starting from food to different parameters of growth and development. With the data we currently have, we are building a trust layer where experts come on board and can answer queries.”

Parentlane raised an undisclosed amount of funding in May 2016 from Sujeet Kumar- Former President of Flipkart. It competes with Babygogo a baby care and parenting mobile apps which raised $300k in seed funding, $1 million angel funding and Tinystep which raised funding from Matt Glickman.
