Neuron a machine learning platform raised angel funding

New Delhi based machine learning platform, Neuron raised $200k in angel funding. The round was led by Harvinder Singh Bhatia, Founder of Radiowala and CFO of Netmagic, and group of angels.

The funds will be used for hiring talent, Natural Language Processing and Research & Development in machine learning.

It started their operations in November 2014 by Aaditya Kakde and Veer Mishra. A natural language processing platform which provides API’s help to analyse overall sentiment of a statement, help to know relatedness or similarity of two statements, extract most significant word in a document and to understand the context of document and categorize into topics.

Other startups in the same segment include Crayon Data, Brain A, Flutura, Dataweave, Fractal Analytics, Formcept and others.

Veer Mishra, CEO, Neuron said

“Neuron is a Natural Language Processing platform that provides API’s that help analyse the overall sentiment of a statement, extract the most significant word in a document, help know the similarity/relatedness of two statements, understanding the context of documents and categorizing into topics. We already have around 200+ developers across the globe who are testing our Beta Platform and it should scale up to 1000+ in next couple of months. Building a developer platform allows us to power the creativity.”
