Mutual Funds to join the product line of eCommerce industry!

Investing into Mutual Funds sounds like a tiring procedure. First you hunt out which fund is best then you go for some Mutual Fund Company which has a good value in the market and obviously you look for the risk involved. What if there is a situation where just like your books, gadgets etc. mutual funds are also easily available on the same website? Looks like a cakewalk deal? Just select the best fund for you, buy and you are a investor now!

Thanks to our Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) which has now given a push for bringing up Mutual Funds to reputed eCommerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon. Co-founder of Infosys Ltd. Mr.Nandan Nilekani submitted a recommendation for parting with mutual funds to eCommerce websites. The recommendations were also screened by Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). With a set of amendments in the plan the whole setup is ready to be launched soon.

This kind of idea is being supported by all securities market players because of dimmed awareness in the mutual funds sector. This plan aims to bring out potential investors out and act as a catalyst for the economic growth and will also reduce the confusions relating to procedure and policies of mutual funds. It is noted that most investors refrain from investing into mutual funds because they usually find the procedures too clumsy and time consuming.

In the initial stage only big market holders like Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm etc. would be given permissions by adhering to certain conditions pertaining to SEBI. The companies are selected based on their capital, revenue and market share and other financial benchmarks. The companies aim to provide full details regarding each fund in such a way that it can be understood by everyone hence making it easy to decide on the part their customers.

All other important documents like Know Your Client (KYC) forms, PAN details, adhaar proof etc. will be retrieved from the customer at the time of making a purchase. The whole system shall be under watch of SEBI and AMFI.

One of the perfect introductions of securities market is done by SEBI. Let us look for more in the time to come!
