The company’s aim is to become number one online retailer of the nation. In order to part with that it has now appointed some top level executives to manage the online retail. The retailer aims to increase its offline facilities and bring a facelift in its manufacturing operations.
The company has apportioned five prime posts in the beginning of 2016. The appointments count as Chief Operating Officer (offline), Human Resource Officer, Chief Human Resource Officer, Chief Financial Officer and two vice presidents. The ranks contain best of the qualified professionals. The company has also hired a senior executive to lead all manufacturing operations.
Calvin Lyngdoh, joined Lenskart as chief human resources officer early this year. Lyngdoh studied at XLRI-Jamshedpur and worked with companies including Nokia India and Cadbury India. Former Rocket Internet employee, Sambuddha Bhattacharya, joined Lenskart as vice president in March. He holds an MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management. Bhattacharya was also the co-founder and director of ShillHippo, an online marketplace for real-life courses and workshops in India.
With all the revamp in the management structure let all good come to the company and there are hopes to get the same into international entities!
