Jugnoo acquired a Hyperlocal delivery startup SabKuchFresh

Jugnoo backed by Paytm an auto aggregator has acquired SabKuchFresh a Chandigarh based hyperlocal delivery service startup.

Jugnoo was founded in 2014 by Samar Singla and Chinmay Agarwal. With 35k people transaction per day, it is one of the leading auto rickshaw aggregators. At present it has over 10k autos. It targets working professionalm students & masses that depends on public transport for daily conveyance.

SabKuchFresh an online store which brings fresh quality vegetables and fruits at your doorstep. The goods are directly bought from farmer and its further claims to be free from artificial ripening agents and pesiticides. With a good presence in B2C and B2B industry it has partnered with 100+ farmers.

Samar Singla , chief executive of Jugnoo said

“This is a step towards helping the auto drivers to supplement their livelihood through extra earnings. Jugnoo also intends to create a logistics network for the mass market of India and wants to tap the hyper-local delivery service space through best possible routes.”

The startup is planning to expand its services in Gurgaon by Next month and to enter 30+ cities by this year’s end. Services are not available in Panchkula and Mohali apart from Chandigarh.

This partnership will help Jugnoo to provide grocery delivery service with improved procedures of sorting, procurement, quality check of products and packaging. SabKuchFresh will allow the Jugnoo drivers to earn additional income when not picking up passengers.

It will further help to increase the customer base for both the companies. There is a separate team been hired to look into this new acquisitions.
