DriveU acquires CallAtHome a Gurgaon based driver service provider startup

CallAtHome a Gurgaon based startup has been acquired by DriveU a Bangalore based startup for a undisclosed amount. CallAtHome is a startup which provides drivers to private owners.

CallAtHome was founded in July 2015 by Alok Inamdar, Anubhav Sood and Satyendra Singh. The startup have served over 2k custmores with 7k bookings. It provides customers a superior, reliable and affordable experience.

Satyendra Singh, Co-founder of CallAtHome said

“CallAtHome has provided unmatched customer experience based on App Store and Facebook reviews. DriveU having services in South Delhi was looking to expand into Gurgaon area. We are happy that CallAtHome is part of their equation.”

DriveU was founded in June 2015 by Ramprasad Shastry, Amulmeet Singh Chadh and Ashok Shastry. Humble Mobile Solutions Pvt Ltd are the ownere and they operate DriveU. With over 350 drivers across Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai, and further 150 CallAtHome drivers will be added to their team. Their aim is to develop the customers experience by providing them facilities which includes Driver verification, technology practices, on road experience (pick-up & drop services, business meetings, shopping etc) and training methods.

Ramprasad Shastry, Co-founder and CEO of DriveU said that

“it was an all-cash deal and will be completed in two tranches. The first payment has already been made and the second one will be done in another 30 days.”

With the DriveU app customers can track the nearest driver available and place the booking. After the booking is confirmed, customers are provided with Driver’s name, phone number, rating, picture, distance from their location and the estimated time of the drivers arrival. DriveU charges their users Rs. 99/hr. Drivers receive 80% of the fee while the company retains the rest.
