DreamWallets raised an undisclosed amount of funding

Dream wallets a Jaipur based crowdfunding platform has secured an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Rakesh Gupta and Aditya Aggarwal. It is owned by SeedLogix India Pvt Ltd. Other investors participated in the round includes Vikas Ranjan, Sanjeev Agarwal, Sunil Koul, Anshul Jindal and Siddharth Banerjee.

The funds will be used in expansion of their team, creating awareness about the crowd funding concept and investment in technology. In over 200 cities DreamWallets has run more than 100 campaigns with 1000 of registered users supporting the platform.

DreamWallets was founded by Nikhil Agarwal and Manish Harodia in July 2015. DreamWallets helps the users to browse the ideas they are looking for and have the passion to convert their dreams into reality. It is a reward based online crowdfunding platform with 15 employees in their team which showcases initiatives towards diverses interest related to Documentaries, short films, social causes, arts & crafts, film & video, environment, technology, photography, food, etc.

Manish Harodia co-founder at DreamWallets said that

“In the coming months, they will launch Dream wallets Version 2.0, which will concentrate on strong community development at its nucleus. He also said that the company aims to launch close to 10,000 projects in the next two years.”

Another crowdfunding platform BitGiving raised an undisclosed amount of funding from a angel investors including Krishna Mehra, Sanjay Bakshi and Harminder Sahni.
