Deyor Camps raised funding from Udaan Angel Partners & Angel Investors

Deyor Camps is runs and operated by Deyor Adventures Pvt Ltd, it has raised $500k funding from Udaan Angel Partners, angel investors including Manickam Mahalingam, Nitin Passi & Rajesh Arora and Arkas Industries.

Deyor camps is founded was Chirag Gupta, Dheeraj Jain, Aakaar Gandhi, Gautam Yadav and Himanshu Agarwal. It provides users with alternative accommodation which includes cottages, tents and tree houses through its website and mobile app with location based adventure activities. It is working in more than 60 locations with more than 140 campsites across the country.

Dheeraj Jain co-founder of Deyor Camps said,

“Operating in a monopolistic nature in this sector, Deyor Camps is a technology platform, which makes booking camping trips as simple as booking a hotel room, hence, structuring a highly fragmented sector.”

It claims to have sent around 10k people for camping during its 1st quarter of operations started in early March. It aims to target more than 25k travelers and looking to partner with more alternative accommodation properties such as homestays, campsites and PG accommodation.

Gautam Yadav, founder, Deyor Camps said

“If adventure and travel were to marry, Deyor Camps would be the baby. It’s been a real emotional roller coaster ride, watching our baby grow up into a platform that has engaged over 10,000 travelers, spreading over 170 properties, across 55 cities, and 200 activities.”
