Bangalore based blogging platform, BlogBeats raised an undisclosed amount in its Pre-Series A round of funding from a US based investors, Michigan.

It was founded in 2014 by Priyank Jain and Lokesh Jain. It allows users to share their ideas and information about the places and their interest which they encounter with in their daily lives and travel in the form of slideshows and blogs. It has a team of 15 members and are associated with Nasscom 10000 startups and T-Hub.

The users can create live beats based on their location by keying in comments, text and also multimedia content. Information can be related to travel, restaurants, weather, beaches, sports, etc, across the world. This feature facilitates writing across time period, generations, locations, languages, communities and neighbourhood.
Blogs on BlogBeats appear based on geo- locations and time periods. It further allow users to track live events happening in any location, by creating a single place to share, create and connect with social media accounts.
Currently it supports English language and soon it plans to expand to other languages as well. It will also launch a B2B solutions to allow organizations to manage their digital content.
