Anand Chandrasekaran Snapdeal’s Chief Product Officer has quit the company. The announcement came with a tweet from Rohit Bansal.
Anand joined Snapdeal in June 2015, while he was CHief Product officer at Airtel, along with this Anand was working with yahoo as Senior Director for Mobile, prior to this Anand was Director of Product at Openwave.
Anand Chandasekaran Co-founded Aeroprise Inc and it rasied a funding of $7 million, It was acquired by BMC Software and became the most- deployed solution worldwide for mobile service management. He also came in the form of an Angel investor, he made personal investments in various startups including Innerchef, Pluss among others.
Anand is a Stanford alumni and holds a M.S in Electrical Engineering, B.S in Communications engineering from PSG College of Technology India. He was named as the Young Global leader in 2010 by the World Economic Forum.
The result for quitting is still unknown and there is no further announcement for appointing someone else. With Anand’s exit both of India’s top 2 e-commerce giants have lost their biggest hires.
