Anand Chandrasekaran Ex CPO of Snapdeal has aanounced investments in six startups including MagicX, Truce, LoanCircle, Rupeek, Lernr and Lucideus. By the end of this plans He plans to invest in 3 to 5 companies.
MagicX an AI powered chat based personal assistant, raised funding from Kris Gopalakrishnan and others. Truce is an agri focused hyperlocal delivery startup. LoanCircle a platform which allows users to acquire quick personal loans. It raised an Angel funding from Zishaan Hayath & others in 2015. Rupeek provides gold loans at your doorsteps. Lernr an education technology platform.
Over the past few months he has been an angel investor in Indian startups and have invested around $25,000 in each startups. Since he left Snapdeal, he has been in touch with more than 200 startups and with over 15 startups added to his portfolio including RentOnGo and Gamezop.
Anand is a Stanford alumni, he did is B.S in communications Engineering from PSG college of technology. He was awarded the title of Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

Anand co-founder of Aeroprise a mobile application software company, moved to India in 2014 and worked as Chief Product Officer at Bharti Airtel. It built products for Airtel such as Wynk Music, Airtel money and My Airtel. In 2015, he ran technologies initiative for Snapdeal to compete with Amazon & Flipkart and worked on products including Shopo, Freecharge, post product customer experience, etc.
